Some friendships bring us together around a table. This dinner begins with one of them: the friendship between Lisa and Andrea, who helps us choose wines and discover the stories of their makers from his wine shop in Italy.

For this evening, we’re dedicating our table to Italian sparkling wines. Six wines, different regions and a selection that reveals how much a bottle can tell us when we know where it comes from.

José will create a six-course menu around the chosen wines, continuing the conversation between Italy and Córdoba that runs through our cooking. Lisa will introduce each wine, sharing the stories that reach us from Andrea’s wine shop.

November also brings evenings by the fireplace and the first thoughts of the celebrations ahead. A lovely time to give someone an evening together and discover wines that might later find a place on your own Christmas table.

You’ll have your own table, whether you’re joining us as a couple or with friends, with time to talk and enjoy each course.

• Dinner at Posadero Bistró, within Patio del Posadero, Córdoba.
