During rainy days like this week it is nice to enjoy our kitchen discovering new recipes. This time of the year, during which the leaves of the trees fall and floods nostalgia in the hearts, it reminds us memories of childhood.
Lisa particularly reminds it when she was a child and was going to help her grandparents to pick up grapes. She remebers when she was crimping feet (how itched!) And it was a unique experience being able to take the first juice that pressing.
Later that juice is bottled and after a while in the cellar it was ready to take. As you know we are innkeepers wine lovers, we love to visit the Designation of Cordoba Montilla-Moriles Origin and perhaps our hobby come from those wonderful childhood memories.

To make this wonderful grape cake recipe we have been inspired by an Italian recipe, you know that our Italian origins are always present (-;
Ingredients of the grape cake recipe:
200 grams of black grape
250 grams of butter
250 grams of sugar
250 grams of flour
4 eggs
1 pinch of salt
powdered sugar
Elaboration of the recipe:
First of all let’s whisk the white snow eggs and put them on a side.
Then mix the butter with sugar and yolks first, when the mass is frothy, add flour and salt.
Then very gently mix the egg whites.
Pour the dough into the mold that we have chosen and cook it at 180 degrees for one hour.
When cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar and it is ready enjoy it!
