This 15th-century building, from the Mudéjar period, has witnessed many lives: it was once an inn, a cape factory, and a shared neighbor’s courtyard. For a decade, it participated in Córdoba’s Patios Festival, declared a UNESCO World Heritage event.

In 2015, after a careful restoration that preserved its historical essence, it opened its doors as Patio del Posadero Boutique Hotel.

The courtyard is structured into three unique spaces that create a complete sensory experience:
1. The central patiol, the heart of the building, where you can enjoy the unique microclimate of authentic Cordoban courtyards.
2. The upperrelaxation area with a saltwater pool, offering a refreshing retreat on Córdoba’s warm days.
3. The lounge, with a cozy fireplace and large windows that let in light, creating the perfect atmosphere for enjoying Bistró or a pleasant read.

The restoration combines traditional and contemporary techniques, respecting the building's authenticity. We preserved the original 15th-century stone walls and used traditional lime plastering.

As a modern element, we incorporated oxidized steel that harmonizes with the historic features. This combination reflects our philosophy: to be the present, shaped by a magnificent past.

The courtyard is a living space that can be enjoyed differently depending on the time of day and season:
-In the morning, it’s the perfect spot to savor our homemade breakfast and brunch.
-During the day, it provides a peaceful retreat for reading or simply admiring the vegetation and the architecture that surrounds it.
-At sunset, the pool area becomes the perfect place to unwind.
-In autumn-winter, the patio maintains a pleasant temperature thanks to its traditional architectural design.
-In spring-summer, our saltwater pool offers a refreshing escape from the Cordovan heat.
